Verizon Signs New Streaming Deal With NFL, Will be Able to Watch Games Regardless of Carrier On Monday, Verizon officially signed a new streaming deal with the NFL. The new deal allows users to live-stream games on their smartphone, even if Verizon isn't their carrier. The deal will start in January 2018, meaning it will be in effect just in time for the NFL playoffs to start. The games can be streamed from Yahoo Sports, Verizon's go90 and NFL Mobile. "Starting with the upcoming playoffs and for seasons to come, live NFL action directly on your mobile device - regardless of carrier - will give millions of fans additional ways to follow their favorite sport."
