Fans Start Petition To Get Disney To Rehire Gina Carano

Gina Carano fans have set up a petition to get the former 'The Mandalorian' actress back on the show. The Change.org petition has over 30,000 signatures already, over halfway to its goal of 50,000. The petition was started by Logan Norfleet who blames cancel culture and Twitter for the actress’s dismissal. This petition is for the executives at Disney. Carano was let go by Disney after she shared a post comparing the current political climate in the U.S. to Nazi Germany. The post detailed how fascist influence in Europe made it easier for the Nazis to persecute Jews. Following the post, #FireGinaCarano began trending on Twitter, with Lucasfilm stating she was no longer employed shortly after. Carano played the role of the bounty hunter Cara Dune in the Disney+ series 'The Mandalorian'.
