Kevin Durant Shoots Perfect 5-for-5 In Return For Nets

Kevin Durant made his first appearance for the Brooklyn Nets since February in a 139-111 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Durant came off the bench for only the second time in his career and shot a perfect 5-for-5 including two 3 pointers. I expected to come out here and play the way I played. I wasn’t trying to ease into the game, Kevin Durant. Durant’s flawless return was witnessed by a limited crowd of 1,700 people at the Barclays Center arena. Durant said although it was "cool" coming off the bench, he also enjoyed playing in front of fans again. Nets fans were also glad to see Durant return after James Harden was sidelined with a hamstring injury on April 5.
