After two years as defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears, Chuck Pagano is retiring.
The 60-year-old replaced Vic Fangio as the Bears defensive coordinator in 2019.
In his two seasons with the team, Pagano led a defense that allowed 20.9 points per game, sixth in the NFL at that time.
Pagano spent his life in coaching and was also the defensive coordinator of the Ravens and head coach of the Colts.
Raheem Morris is among the candidates to replace Pagano as the Bears' defensive coordinator.
Morris was the defensive coordinator at the Atlanta Falcons last season, before being made interim coach of the side.
The Bears will be hiring a defensive coordinator for the third time in four seasons.
