The 1965 Fender Electric XII has been valued at $1 million and it has a minimum bid of $215,000.
The guitar is being sold through Gotta Have Rock And Roll, an online auction that specializes in authentic music memorabilia.
The 12-string electric guitar was given to Dylan by Fender.
The official listing describes the instrument as “an incredibly rare specimen”.
The guitar comes with a signed letter from Bob Dylan’s management confirming that it is a guitar he owned.
