Ford and South Korean company SK Innovations are planning to build two massive electric vehicle factories in the US.
The two companies will invest $11.4 billion into building the factories.
Ford’s share of the investment will be $7Bn, making it the company’s largest-ever single manufacturing investment.
One of the factories will be in Kentucky, while the other will be in Tennessee.
The two factories will employ roughly 11,000 people and will include three electric vehicle battery manufacturing plants.
The Tennessee factory will be called Blue Oval City and cover 3,600 acres.
