A U.S. production company is developing a reality TV show competition where the winner will receive a trip to the ISS.
The company, Space Hero Inc., has reportedly secured a seat on a 2023 mission to the International Space Station.
The show, which is titled Space Hero, will seek everyday people who have a love for space exploration.
Contestants will go through a variety of challenges that will test their physical, mental, and emotional strength.
The ten-day trip to the ISS would be the biggest prize ever awarded on TV.
The winner’s journey to and stay at the space station will also be televised.
Space Hero has teamed up with a company called Axiom Space, which is aiming to build its own commercial space stations.
Axiom has a deal with NASA to send four paying customers to the ISS using SpaceX’s new Crew Dragon capsule in 2021.
We look forward to enabling Space Hero’s mission and further expanding human presence in space, Axiom Space
