Joseph Gordon-Levitt Joins The Cast Of Disney’s ‘Pinocchio’

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Cynthia Erivo have joined the cast of Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of ‘Pinocchio’. Gordon-Levitt will voice Jiminy Cricket, while Erivo will play the role of the Blue Fairy. Tom Hanks is set to play Gepetto and Luke Evans will play The Coachman. Pinocchio will be voiced by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth. Robert Zemeckis, who previously worked with Hanks on ‘Forrest Gump’ and ‘Cast Away’, will be directing the movie. Production on ‘Pinocchio’ is set to begin this month and the movie will be released on Disney+. ‘Pinocchio’ is one of several live-action movies that Disney is working on, including ‘Cruella’ and a sequel to ‘The Lion King’
