Over 60 Celebrities Ask Congress To Pass Climate Change Legislation

Camila Cabello and over 60 other celebrities have asked entertainment industry CEOs to demand Congress to pass climate change legislation.
The celebrities teamed up with the NRDC Action Fund and wrote an open letter to the CEOs of Walt Disney, Apple, Facebook and others.
They believe Congress has a “once-in-a-generation opportunity to invest in a clean, just, and equitable future”.
According to the NRDC Action Fund, Cabello partnered with the organization to initiate the letter.
In a statement, the singer said that entertainment companies have the power to “push Congress to enact bold action on climate”.
What started as an idea by Camila Cabello has exploded into a clarion call from entertainers overnight to take action, Manish Bapna CEO of the NRDC Action Fund.
Some of the celebrities who signed the letter include Benny Blanco, Glenn Close, John Legend, Cara Delevingne and Leonardo DiCaprio.
As well Zac Efron, Billie Eilish, Chris Evans, Selena Gomez, Hugh Jackman, Jimmy Kimmel, Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper and over 60 others.
