Cases of COVID-19 among fully vaccinated people are extremely rare, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
According to new data from the CDC, only 0.008% of fully vaccinated people have caught an infection in the U.S.
So far more than 75 million people in the U.S. have been fully vaccinated, meaning only 5,800 have become infected.
The CDC says that the majority of people with these infections were not hospitalized and 29% were asymptomatic infections.
