Lana Del Rey Responds To Criticism Of New Album Cover

Lana Del Rey has defended herself after fans criticized her new album cover for not being diverse. The singer shared the cover for her upcoming album ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club’ on Instagram on January 10. The black and white photo features Del Rey and a group of women sitting around a picnic table. In a comment under her post, the singer said that “yes there are people of color on this record's picture”. She explained that the women in the photo are her “best friends”, saying that they are a “beautiful mix of everything”. Del Rey said she has “always been extremely inclusive without even trying” and also referenced the Capitol Hill riot. She finished the comment by saying that she is "literally changing the world" by sharing her "life and thoughts and love"
