A recent survey found that most Americans will accept slower deliveries in exchange for better worker treatment by Amazon.
The e-commerce giant has been heavily criticized following reports of poor working conditions at its warehouses.
Over 50% of the 1,200 people surveyed said they would accept adding one to two days to their delivery times.
I rarely need things as fast as Amazon ships them. Totally fine if they delay it a day or two if it means giving their drivers or warehouse people more breaks, Survey respondent.
77% of women said that they would be in favor of waiting longer for better worker treatment.
In comparison, only 57% of men said they would accept longer delivery times.
One in three respondents said that they are not willing to wait longer for their deliveries at all.
