Mary McCartney To Direct Documentary About Abbey Road Studios

Mary McCartney will direct a new documentary about Abbey Road Studios titled ‘If These Walls Could Sing’. The movie will be produced by Mercury Studios, which is backed by Universal Music Group. Mary McCartney is a photographer and filmmaker, as well as a daughter of The Beatles’ Paul McCartney. She says that some of her earliest memories as a child “come from time spent at Abbey Road”. I’ve long wanted to tell the story of this historic place and I couldn’t be collaborating with a better team than John and Mercury Studios to make this creative ambition a reality, Mary McCartney. The movie will feature an all-star cast of interviews with intimate access to the premises. It is set to be part of Abbey Road Studios’ 90th-anniversary celebrations, which will begin in November 2021
