The European nation of San Marino has won its first-ever Olympic medal after 61 years of trying.
With a population of just 34,000 people, San Marino is now the smallest nation to win an Olympic medal.
Sammarinese trap shooter Alessandra Perilli earned a bronze medal in the women’s trap shooting event.
Perilli made history after hitting 29 of 40 targets to place third in the six-woman final.
San Marino first competed at the 1960 Olympics in Rome, but this is the first time they have secured a medal.
The trap shooting gold medal went to Slovakia's Zuzana Stefecekova, who set an Olympic record by hitting 43 targets.
