Christopher Bell earned his first career cup win on Sunday on the Daytona International road course.
Bell, who went winless last year as a rookie, won in his second start with Joe Gibbs Racing.
The 26-year-old passed Joey Logano, who had built a decent lead in the race, for his first career cup win.
I’m just so incredibly thankful to be here at Joe Gibbs Racing. ... It feels like I’ve prepared my whole life for this moment to race in the Cup Series, Christopher Bell.
Bell was loaned out to Leavine Family Racing last year but was brought back to Joe Gibbs Racing this season.
Elsewhere, Ty Gibbs, the grandson of the Joe Gibbs Racing owner, won the Xfinity Series race on Saturday.
Gibbs became the youngest driver to win an Xfinity road course race at 18 years, 4 months and 16 days.
