Activision Blizzard has settled a lawsuit filed by the US Equal Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
The lawsuit alleged that employees at the company faced harassment and discrimination.
The EEOC filed the lawsuit on Sept. 27 following a three-year investigation that the company cooperated with.
Activision Blizzard has promised to create an $18 million fund to compensate employees who claim damages.
Any funds that are left over will be donated to charity or used to create diversity and inclusion initiatives at the company.
The company will also update its policies to "prevent and eliminate harassment and discrimination".
There is no place anywhere at our company for discrimination, harassment, or unequal treatment of any kind, Bobby Kotick, Activision Blizzard CEO
