Putin's Propaganda Queen In Forbes' Top 100

Putin's "Propaganda Queen" is one of the most influential women on Earth.
Margarita Simonyan is the editor-in-chief of RT, the Russian state-controlled media outlet alleged to have spread fake news and damaging conspiracy theories during the 2016 Presidential election.
Simonyan began her journalism career at 18, quickly becoming one of Putin's favorites. At 25, she was appointed editor-in-chief due to her news network's efforts. Simonyan rose to 52 in Forbes' list of 100 most powerful women, surpassing Hillary Clinton, who fell from two to 65 — thanks, in part, to Margarita Simonyan.
