Provided By - Video Elephant on November 23, 2021
HipHop journalist and photographer Lawrence “Loupy D” Dotson is releasing a collection of previously unpublished photos of Tupac Shakur.
The photos were taken during a release party for the late rapper’s debut album 2Pacalypse Now.
The 18 black and white photos are being sold as non-fungible tokens(NFTs) on the NFT platform Open Sea.
17 of the photos are original images, while the last photo is a “Super NFT” collage comprising the other 17 images.
Each NFT will be accompanied by a framed print signed by Dotson.
Part of the proceeds are supposedly going towards planting trees in Shakur’s hometown.
In these photos, you can see in his eyes the determination, the passion, the swagger and the shine of a brand new artist. These photos show the man not many people got to see…fresh out the gate Tupac, Lawrence Dotson.
The NFT sale is set to end on Nov. 30.
