Microsoft has acquired AI speech technology firm Nuance in a deal worth $19.7 billion.
This is Microsoft’s second-biggest acquisition. The tech giant previously acquired LinkedIn for $26 billion in 2016.
Nuance is best known for its Dragon software, which forms the basis for Apple’s voice assistant, Siri.
