Lamborghini Will Launch Its First Fully Electric Car Before 2030

Italian automaker Lamborghini has announced that it will launch its first fully electric car before 2030.
The company said that it will transition to producing hybrid models before launching fully electric cars in the late 2020s.
Lamborghini’s electrification plan is a newly-plotted course, necessary in the context of a radically-changing world, Stephan Winkelmann, Automobili Lamborghini President & CEO.
Lamborghini’s first hybrid car will arrive in 2023 and will deliver an “authentic Lamborghini driving experience”.
By 2024, the company will have hybrid versions of its entire lineup, including the Huracan, Aventador and Urus.
The automaker is spending $1.8 billion on its transition to hybrids and is aiming to reduce CO2 emissions by 50% by 2025
