Morocco Team Evacuated From Guinea Following Coup

Morocco’s national team was escorted out of Guinea on Sunday after an attempted coup took place in the country’s capital.
Morocco were scheduled to play Guinea in a World Cup qualifier on Sept. 6 but were evacuated from the country.
The team were stranded in their hotel in the country’s capital city Conakry during hours of gunfire.
The players and match officials were eventually granted safe passage out of the city and boarded a plane.
FIFA announced on Sunday that the game would be postponed till further notice.
"To ensure the safety and security of all players and all match officials, Fifa and Caf have decided to postpone the match," FIFA.
