Athletes at the Olympics and Paralympics have been told they could lose their medals for breaching COVID-19 restrictions.
Athletes will be required to eat alone, get tested daily and avoid conversation in elevators under new COVID rules.
They have also been told that they cannot speak to a driver of an official vehicle.
Breaching the COVID restrictions could result in them being fined, disqualified or possibly even losing their medals.
People who are found to have repeatedly or maliciously breached restrictions could even be deported.
Organizers are also considering a six-day quarantine for people coming from countries with cases of the Delta variant.
The Tokyo Olympics will begin on July 23.
