Most Americans Are Reluctant To Take A ‘Mental Health Day’

A new survey found that 54% of Americans don’t think that taking a “mental health day” is a valid excuse to call out of work.
The survey questioned 2,000 working Americans on mental health and the workplace.
Over 60% said they believe their employer would judge them if they asked for time off due to mental health reasons.
Most people are concerned that their employer would think that they are unable to perform their job.
The survey also found that 55% of people have been using more mental health services since the start of the pandemic.
