Callie Brownson, the chief of staff of the Cleveland Browns, has become the first female position coach in an NFL game.
This means that Brownson is the highest-ranking female coach in league history.
She was made the interim tight end coach in a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars when Drew Petzing couldn't make the game.
Before the game, she tweeted “I’m just, thankful”.
Austin Hooper scored a touchdown in the game, which allowed the Browns to win 27-25 over the Jaguars.
Sarah Fuller has also recently made history by becoming the first woman to play in a Power 5 college football game.
