PlayStation Plans To Further Expand Into TV And Film

PlayStation boss Jim Ryan has said that the company is only beginning its journey into new media. The PlayStation boss has said more of the company’s games will be moving to new media platforms in the coming years. Playstation’s Uncharted series is becoming a movie later this year starring Spiderman actor Tom Holland as Nathan Drake. The Last of Us is also getting its own TV series in partnership with HBO. This is just the beginning of the expansion of our storytelling into new media and even wider audiences, Jim Ryan, President And CEO Of Sony Interactive Entertainment. PlayStation is hoping to reach wider audiences by converting their game IP’s into movies and TV series.
