Amazon Rebooting Rocky And Bullwinkle On TV

Rocky and Bullwinkle are coming back to TV after nearly 50 years. Amazon is bringing back the classic characters from the ‘50s and ‘60s, and giving them 2018 jokes. The hilarious pair entertained kids way back when, but are now getting a bit of an upgrade. Since kids’ humor has changed quite a bit from what it was 40+ years ago, the jokes will obviously be a bit more modern. The animation is also getting an update. However, the adventures are just like the original series — plus, classic villains Boris and Natasha are returning.
According to cinemablend.com, in addition to original animator Jay Ward's daughter Tiffany, the show's other executive producer is Scott Fellows, who has made a name for himself with shows like “Johnny Test,” “Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide,” and many others:
“With Fellows' guidance and a talented cast, this new series seems ‘primed,’ to be a hit for Amazon.”
Amazon is beefing up its offerings for kids — they are also adding a new “Kung Fu Panda” show. But first up is the new “Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle,” which comes out May 11. Whether you were a fan of the series growing up and want some nostalgia, or have never seen the show, you should check out the updated adventures.
