Coldplay have announced a range of initiatives to mitigate the environmental impact of their upcoming 2022 world tour.
The band have pledged to cut CO2 emissions by 50% compared to their 2016-17 world tour.
They will also “almost entirely” use renewable energy to power their concerts.

The band will even harness energy from their fans by installing a “kinetic floor” at their shows.
The stage will be built from sustainable materials such as bamboo and recycled steel.
Fans will also be encouraged to travel to the concert venues using low-carbon transport methods.
