Ben Roethlisberger Takes Pay Cut To Stay At Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger has signed a new deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2021 season.
The new deal cuts the quarterback’s upcoming salary from $19M to $14M with payments spread across 2022.
In total, the Steelers have cut more than $15M from their salary cap in 2021 with the new deal.
I am grateful to be at this stage of my career and more than happy to adjust my contract in a way that best helps the team to address other players who are so vital to our success, Ben Roethlisberger.
Roethlisberger has been with the Steelers since they selected him in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
The 39-year-old has played in a Steelers record 233 games, starting 231 one of those.
