Virtual Open-Air Range: Largest Anechoic Chamber In World Undergoes Upgrade

This is the largest Anechoic chamber in the world. It's where the U.S. Air Force Tests Radio Frequency (RF) Systems for all Department Of Defense (DOD) Aircraft. The facility at Edwards Air Force Base has recently finished upgrading & testing its massive turntable system. The Benefield Anechoic Facility (BAF) can test avionics systems in a secure, controlled, & repeatable electromagnetically controlled free-space environment.
