BTS Breaks Billboard Hot 100 Record Set By ‘Gangnam Style’

BTS’ ‘Dynamite’ has set a new record on the Billboard Hot 100 as the longest-charting single by a Korean artist.
The song has been on the chart for 32 weeks, surpassing a 31-week run by Psy in 2013 for his viral hit ‘Gangnam Style’.
‘Dynamite’ has also broken the record for most weeks at number one on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales Chart.
The song has been at the top of the chart for 18 non-consecutive weeks.
Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’ previously topped the chart 17 times.
‘Dynamite’ is currently sitting at number 13 on the Billboard Global 200 chart.
